Hyderabad: SCR announces special MMTS trains for Ganesh idol immersion

South Central Railway will run eight special MMTS trains on September 6–7 and 7–8 nights to manage Ganesh idol immersion rush in Hyderabad. The late-night trains will cover key routes and halt at all major MMTS stations

Hyderabad: To manage the heavy rush of devotees during Ganesh idol immersion, South Central Railway (SCR) has announced special late-night MMTS train services.

These services will operate on the intervening nights of September 6–7 and September 7–8, between 10 pm and 4 am.

A total of eight special trains will run on routes including Secunderabad–Hyderabad, Hyderabad–Lingampalli, Lingampalli–Hyderabad, Lingampalli–Falaknuma, and Falaknuma–Secunderabad.

SCR officials said the services are aimed at providing safe and convenient travel for passengers.

All trains will halt at major MMTS stations en route.
