Hyderabad: SCSC launches post-Covid oxygenation facility
The centre has 50 oxygen concentrators and is launched to help the poor and needy who cannot afford to buy or rent the required medical equipments

Hyderabad: Several patients have reportedly developed lung fibrosis and severe pneumonia after recovering from Covid and need immediate hospitalisation with oxygen support.
With such cases on the rise, the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) has launched the OxyCare Centre, a post-Covid oxygenation facility. Initiated on Saturday, the facility was started in collaboration with Cyberabad Police and Medicover Hospitals.
The centre has 50 oxygen concentrators and is launched to help the poor and needy who cannot afford to buy or rent the required medical equipments.
Speaking on the occasion, Krishna Yedula, General Secretary of SCSC, shared, “With the support from donors, a combined donation of oxygen concentrators, we have set up this 50-bed O2 Oxygenation Park facility at Gachibowli Junction, near Istara PG, Next lane to Maharaja Hospital.”
“This facility has been set up to support the needy and economically poor patients who don’t have access or can afford to buy or rent oxygen concentrators for post Covid sustenance of saturation levels till they get to full normalcy,” he added.
