Hyderabad: Senior advocate dies in suspected hit-and-run at Nampally
Senior advocate Khaja Moizuddin succumbed to injuries after an SUV allegedly rammed into him near his residence in Nampally on Saturday morning. Family members suspect a pre-planned attack, while police have launched an investigation, including examining the possibility of attempted murder.

Hyderabad: A senior advocate, who suffered grievous injuries in a suspected hit-and-run incident at Nampally on Saturday morning, succumbed in the afternoon.
The victim, identified as Khaja Moizuddin, was reportedly stepping out of his house and attempting to get into the driver’s seat of his car when an SUV allegedly rammed into him at high speed.
A video clip of the incident showed the vehicle hitting Moizuddin, throwing him several feet into the air before he fell on the road. He sustained severe injuries and was rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed while undergoing treatment later in the afternoon.
On receiving information, the Nampally Police reached the spot and launched an investigation. Police teams also visited the hospital as part of the probe.
Family members and colleagues of Moizuddin suspect the incident to be a pre-planned attack. Police said they are examining all angles, including the possibility of an attempt to murder.
