Hyderabad: The cold wave condition continues to shiver the city with the night temperature in various localities remaining below 10 degree Celsius. The lowest minimum temperature of 8.4 degree Celsius was recorded at Rajendranagar, in the early hours of Wednesday. The overall minimum temperature of the city was 11.2 degree Celsius, which was at least four degree Celsius below normal.

According to the forecast by India Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad, the minimum temperature is likely to range from 11 degree Celsius to 13 degree Celsius for the next five days.


The city is likely to witness foggy mornings for the next three days. And also the night temperature in many places, including Hayathnagar, LB Nagar, Serilingampally, Falaknuma and Uppal, is likely to drop by two to three degrees in the next two days.

Meanwhile, most districts of Telangana are facing a cold wave-like situation. On Wednesday, Kumram Bheem Asifabad recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 4.6 degree Celsius. IMD-H has issued a yellow alert for many districts including Adilabad, Jagtial, Macherial, Karimnagar, Mulugu and Medak, for the next three days.

Serilingampally – 10.1 degree Celsius
Chandanagar – 10.5 degree Celsius

Adilabad – 5.8 degree Celsius
Mancherial – 6.1 degree Celsius
Jayashankar Bhupalpally – 6.5 degree Celsius
Rangareddy – 6.6 degree Celsius
