Hyderabad shocker: Friend kills for love in brutal love triangle murder
According to the police, Mahipal Yadav from Kapra and Prudhvi Raj from Ahmedguda had been close friends for many years but often clashed over a girl with whom Prudhvi Raj was in a relationship. Despite their plan to marry, their relationship was not accepted by the elders in both families. Eventually, Mahipal grew closer to the girl, which caused tension and anger in Prudhvi.
Hyderabad: The Keesara police solved the murder case of Mahipal Yadav (24) reported on Wednesday and arrested his friend in connection with the killing on Thursday night. A love traingle led to the murder, police said.
According to the police, Mahipal Yadav from Kapra and Prudhvi Raj from Ahmedguda both friends since many years had frequent fights over a girl with whom Prudhvi Raj was in a relationship.
Prudhvi Raj and the girl had also decided to get married, but their relationship was not approved by the elders from both their families. Eventually, Mahipal started moving close with her, which upset Prudhvi.
Angered by this, Prudhvi who decided to eliminate Mahipal, called him over for a liquor party on December 10. After both having drunk, Prudhvi took Mahipal on his bike to the hill lock at Haridaspalli in Keesara on the city outskirts and stabbed him to death.
Based on strong suspicion, Prudhvi was arrested and he confessed to the killing.
