Eshwariah Art Gallery has yet again come up with the sixth season of art show – Six Dimensions. Displaying the works of six artistes, the art show commenced on February 20.

Presenting their individual dimensions in a very creative way are these four local artistes – J R Mohan Raju, Jayaraju Turimilla, Prasuna Murali, and Sukanthi K P besides Jagadeesh Palayat from Kozhikode (Calicut) and Kim Curfina from Kohima, Nagaland.

At the show, one can witness the Veda Rushis belonging to four Vedas beautifully rendered in white, golden yellow and blue hues on a canvas by the city based artist Jayaraju Turimilla. One will be amused by the mischievous, gossips, day dreaming, emotions-sharing has been “uniquely” illustrated in varied colour shades on canvas by an young and emerging artiste Sukanthi K P.

Prasuna Murali, another city based impressionist artiste has exhibited her new “Fariyad” series with throwing the magic of oil colours on canvas. The depictions of inner “reflections” are painted in varied greys. While, J R Mohan Raju rendered semi-abstract glimpses of Ramayana and “Village woman” in red, orange and mauve colours.

The abstract rendering of nature in analogous hues and split-complementary colours by the Calicut based artist Jagadeesh Palayat are very impressive. Kim Curfina has used dynamic palette of colours and style on her canvas. Her “Pride of Nagaland” painting holds the essence of rich colours depicting the culture and nativity.

On the whole, one will simply witness the six blends of visual treat at Six Dimensions Season 6 curatedby M Sanjay Kumar, Director of M. Eshwariah Art Gallery. The art show will be held between 11 am to 7 pm till March 1.
