Hyderabad: South Central Railway Bharat Scouts and Guides celebrate 75th Foundation Day

Hyderabad: South Central Railway Bharat Scouts and Guides State celebrated the 75th Bharat Scouts and Guides Foundation Day and Flag Day at the Railway Mixed High School here on Thursday.

During which a walkathon was held involving Scout Officials, Scouts and Guides in the Railway Colony. It was flagged off by G R.S. Rao, State Commissioner (Adult Resources) and Chief Personnel Officer, SCR.

The mission of Bharat Scouts and Guides established on November 7, 1950, following the amalgamation of many organisations, is to contribute to the development of young people by promoting values like leadership, self-reliance, service to society.

Foundation Day is celebrated with various events, activities, and ceremonies conducted by scout and guide units across India.
