Hyderabad: ‘Street Cause’ to organise charity drive for the underprivileged
The objective of the charity event is to raise funds for the underprivileged like orphans, elderly, unemployed, persons with mental health issues and enable them to lead a quality life

Hyderabad: Hyderabad-based voluntary organisation Street Cause, which was established by a group of students, is organising a day-long charity event on Sunday to raise funds for its philanthropic activities.
Some of the charity events lined-up include a virtual run, stand-up comedy, concert, celebrity panel discussions, quiz, Zumba and Yoga from 5 am to 10 pm at the auditorium of CMR Institute of Technology (CMRIT), Medchal.
The objective of the charity event is to raise funds for the underprivileged like orphans, elderly, unemployed, persons with mental health issues and enable them to lead a quality life. Street Cause is aiming to raise funds through 1 lakh passes that will be issued to individuals interested in participating and witnessing the day-long charity event.
The events include Yoga by Abhimanika Yadav from 5 am, a virtual 5K run from 7 am, a Zumba session by Deepak Mourya from 9 am, Open Stage from 11 am, quiz competition from 1.30 pm, stress management session by Manisha Dayanand from 3 pm, celebrity panel discussion from 4.30 pm and stand-up comedy and a concert from 6 pm onwards.
Noted personalities from all walks of life including Health Minister, Etela Rajender, MLC, K Kavitha, actors Vishwak Sen, Akhil Sarthak, Alekhya Harika are scheduled to participated in the event.
