Hyderabad student critically injured in road accident in US
Mohammed Zaid, a student from Old Malakpet studying at the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut, sustained critical injuries after being hit by a car. Admitted to St. Vincent’s Medical Centre, he remains on a ventilator. His family seeks government support and emergency visas.

Hyderabad: A Hyderabad man suffered serious injuries in a road accident at Connecticut in the USA.
According to the family, Mohammed Zaid, a resident of Old Malakpet is pursuing graduation in health profession and related clinical science from University of Bridgeport, Connecticut USA.
On Saturday, he went out to buy some groceries from a store when on the way, he was hit by an unknown car. The local authorities admitted him to St. Vincent’s Medical Centre, Hartford HealthCare, Connecticut. Since the last three days, he has been unconscious and put on a ventilator, said Mohd Ismail, father of Zaid.
The family appealed to the State government to help them and urged the US Consulate General in Hyderabad to issue an emergency visa.
