According to the police, the suspect MS Abhinay Naik from Yousufguda, who was running an educational consultancy for students, promised admissions easily and collected Rs 4 lakh from each student and cheated them

Hyderabad: Promising BSc Agriculture seats in colleges in Maharashtra and Karnataka, a fraudster duped students from the city to the tune of several lakhs.

According to the police, the suspect MS Abhinay Naik from Yousufguda, who was running an educational consultancy for students, promised admissions easily and collected Rs 4 lakh from each student and cheated them. From other job aspirants, he collected money promising jobs in the Indian Railways.


Following a complaint, the Banjara Hills police booked a case and took up investigation. The victims also approached the West Zone Joint Commissioner of Police, A.R.Srinivas Rao and submitted a petition.
