Hyderabad: The swift response of a police Sub Inspector saved the life of a man who attempted to die by suicide at Film Nagar in Banjara Hills on Wednesday.
The incident occurred in the afternoon, when one Mithilesh allegedly attempted to commit suicide by inflicting injuries on himself on the premises of a car showroom.
Jubilee Hills Sub-inspector Shiva Shankar, who was on duty nearby, received the information on the wireless set. Though the incident occurred under the Banjara Hills police station limits, Shiva Shankar understood the seriousness of the situation and rushed to the spot and shifted Mithilesh to a nearby hospital.
The timely intervention of the cop saved the life of the youngster, who is now under treatment and his condition stable.
