Hyderabad surgeons remove tumour from 55-year-old woman from MP
The patient recovered well and began rehabilitation training, where she started standing and walking independently.

Hyderabad: Spinal cord surgeons at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Sunshine Hospital, Begumpet, on Thursday announced successful treatment of a 55-year-old woman from Madhya Pradesh diagnosed with spinal column cancer.
The interventional radiology team first embolized the tumor to reduce blood flow followed by Dr. Himanshu Prasad, Dr. Anjaneylu Reddy and Neuroanesthetist Dr. Anagh Chakraborty, performing a 6-hour surgery to remove the tumor without breaching the margins, followed by spinal column reconstruction.
The patient recovered well and began rehabilitation training, where she started standing and walking independently.
