Hyderabad: Over the last one year several citizens have adopted animals at the Nehru Zoological Park.
And on Friday, a city-based software engineer, Pradeep adopted one Asiatic lioness, named Sakshi, at the zoo.
During his visit to the zoo, the techie presented a cheque of Rs 1 lakh towards the maintenance of the lioness for a period of one year. Applauding the gesture, S Rajashekar, zoo curator, thanked Pradeep and his family for their contribution towards wildlife conservation.
