Hyderabad: Techie killed in accident at Kandukur

According to the police, when Srinath reached near Katikapally village, he was hit by the truck which was coming from the opposite direction

Hyderabad: A youngster died on the spot after the bike he was riding was hit by a truck at Kandukur in Ranga Reddy district here late on Sunday.

The victim, identified as TR Srinath (24), a software employee from Rachluru village in Kandukur, was on his way on his motorcycle towards Begarikanche from his house, when the mishap occurred. According to the police, when Srinath reached near Katikapally village, he was hit by the truck which was coming from the opposite direction.

“He was thrown off the bike and died on the spot,” police said, adding that the bike too was heavily damaged.

Based on a complaint, the Kandukur police have booked a case and took up investigation. The body was shifted to the Osmania General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
