Hyderabad: A software employee who allegedly used an air gun to threaten people and create nuisance at a liquor outlet was arrested by the Jagadgirigutta police here on Wednesday.
The arrested man was identified as Harsha Reddy (30), a resident of Allwyn Colony in Jagadgirigutta.
According to the police, on Thursday night, Harsha Reddy went to a liquor shop in Yellammabanda in a car and allegedly seeing many customers became restless and started arguing with them.
The liquor shop staff and other customers tried to pacify him. He was allegedly in an inebriated condition and took out an air gun and brandishing it, threatened them.
Based on a complaint, the Jagadgirigutta police booked a case and arrested Harsha Reddy. He was produced before court and remanded in judicial custody.
