Hyderabad: Unidentified persons murdered Mohd Aijaz, an 18-year-old listed as a rowdy sheeter, at Kishan Bagh in Bahadurpura around midnight on Thursday. Previous enmity is suspected to have led to the killing, police said.
Aijaz was earlier involved in the attempt to murder of another rowdy sheeter, Gaffar. Police said it was suspected that Aijaz was called outside by the suspects and attacked at a secluded spot near Vidya Bharathi School in Bahadurpura.
“The assailants attacked him with iron rods and boulders. He died on the spot,” said an official.
The Bahadurpura police are examining footage from surveillance cameras in the surroundings to identify the killers. The CLUES team and Dog Squad visited the spot and collected samples. Police suspect Gaffar and his associates Aslam and Waheed to be behind the murder.
The body was shifted to the Osmania General Hospital morgue for autopsy. Two teams are on the job to identify and nab the suspects.
