Hyderabad: Telugu actor’s estranged wife accused of cheating people 

Hyderabad: Several complaints have been lodged with the Gachibowli police against a businesswoman Ramya Raghupathi, accusing her of cheating and threatening people.

Ramya, the estranged wife of actor VK Naresh, has been running several businesses and according to the victims, she lured them in the guise of a Group Income Scheme and collected huge sums promising to return it with a high rate of interest. However, all her cheques bounced due to insufficient balance, the complainants said.

The Gachibowli police have booked a case and are investigating.

Meanwhile, according to vernacular media reports, Naresh has clarified that Ramya Raghupathi and he were living separately for the last seven years and that he had no involvement in her activities.
