Hyderabad: Three persons who had allegedly committed a burglary at a house in Rallaguda, Shamshabad, were arrested by the RGI Airport police on Saturday. The police recovered property worth Rs 18 lakh from them.
The arrested are Gulla Shiva Prasad (21), D Lokesh (19) and Mandali Manohar (19), all residents of KPHB Colony and natives of Nagarkurnool.
According to ACP Shamshabad V Sreekanth Goud, Shiva, Lokesh and Manohar entered the house of a businessman on September 9 and made away with gold ornaments and silver articles when the occupants were away.
On a complaint, the police registered a case and formed special teams who nabbed the trio with the help of surveillance camera footage. On interrogation, they admitted to committing the burglary.
