Hyderabad: Three persons, including a CISF constable, who allegedly robbed a person of cash and a mobile phone after beating him were arrested by the Karkhana police on Saturday.
The arrested persons were Anup Singh (30), a CISF constable working at NISA Hakimpet, Vipin (24) a student and resident of Rasoolpura and Harish Kumar, a finance branch manager in Vandana Nidhi Limited, all natives of Rajasthan.
ACP (Mahankali) B Ramesh said the three persons had offered a ride to S Vishwak, who works at a private company as customer support executive in their car on February 11.
“Vishwak was asking for a lift from motorists at Wellington bus-stop at Karkhana when the three suspects stopped. After the victim got in, they took him to an isolated place and robbed him of cash and other articles,” the ACP said.
On a complaint the police had booked a case and took after identifying arrested them.
