Hyderabad: Three drug peddlers arrested near Prasad’s IMAX, narcotics worth Rs 23.5 lakh seized
Three alleged drug peddlers – Mohd Gulam Jilani, Suleman Khan, and Feroz Bin Ali – were arrested near Prasad’s IMAX in Hyderabad. Police seized heroin and marijuana worth Rs 23.5 lakh. The case is under further investigation by Saifabad and Rajendranagar Police.

Hyderabad: The Task Force (Central) team, along with the Saifabad Police, arrested three alleged drug peddlers near Prasad’s IMAX open grounds and seized narcotic substances worth Rs 23.5 lakh on Friday.
The suspects identified as Mohd Gulam Jilani, Suleman Khan and Feroz Bin Ali were caught while allegedly supplying heroin and marijuana to local consumers.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Suleman and Feroz had been sourcing narcotics from Jilani and selling them between Rs 8,000 and 10,000 per gram to known drug consumers in Hyderabad. They also admitted to recently selling the drug to a consumer who later died of an overdose in Shivrampalli, a case already under investigation by Rajendranagar Police.
Jilani was found to have procured the contraband from Odisha with the help of a supplier named Afsar.
Police seized 100 grams of heroin, 1.35 kgs of marijuana, mobile phones and a bike, altogether worth Rs 23.5 lakh.
The suspects and seized material were handed over to Saifabad Police for further action.
