Hyderabad Task Force and Kacheguda police arrested two interstate drug peddlers and seized 21.2 kg of marijuana and 1 litre of hashish oil worth Rs 23 lakh. Police said the suspects allegedly procured the drugs from an absconding supplier from Odisha.
Hyderabad Task Force (Charminar) police arrested two drug peddlers and seized 2.4 kg of marijuana at Bhavani Nagar. The accused allegedly sourced the drugs from Nagpur and planned to sell them in the Old City. Investigation is underway to trace suppliers.
Hyderabad police arrested two drug peddlers, Jyothi Pradeep and Kota Vijay Kumar, at Musheerabad and seized 367 grams of hashish oil. The oil was procured from Visakhapatnam. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend their associate, Mahaboob, who is absconding.
Miyapur police arrested two men from Maharashtra and seized 10.5 grams of MDMA from them following a tip-off. Police said the accused brought the drugs from Mumbai to sell them in Hyderabad ahead of New Year celebrations.
