Hyderabad: Three persons who were organising cricket betting were caught by the Commissioner’s Task Force (South) on Thursday. The police seized Rs. 73,000 and mobile phones from them.

Acting on a tip off, the team caught Syed Qasim ul Haq, Mohd Arif and Gulam Hasan Khan after raiding a house at Mirchowk. “They were organising cricket betting and collecting money from punters on the ongoing IPL matches,” said S Raghavendra, Inspector (Task Force).

All the three were handed over to the Mirchowk police for further action.
