Hyderabad: The Banjara Hills police have booked three youngsters for harassing and threatening a minor girl. The 15-year-old girl, a Class 10 student from Banjara Hills Road No.10, was being stalked and harassed by one Jeevan Kumar (21) from Ibrahim Nagar.
Police said Jeevan was harassing the girl in the name of love for over a year. With the girl informing her mother, she warned Jeevan and the family moved to another house.
“Since then, the youngster along with his friends Soheb and Anil Kumar searched for her new address and last week, barged into the house and threatened to kill her if she did not marry him,” police said, adding that based on the girl’s complaint, a case was booked and is being investigated.
Efforts are on to nab the suspects.
