Hyderabad to see 40 degree Celsius heat and evening thunderstorms; Telangana braces for intense weather swings
Hyderabad will witness temperatures up to 40°C on Monday, with thunderstorms expected by evening. Across Telangana, intense daytime heat will give way to rain, lightning, and gusty winds, offering temporary relief but signalling unstable weather conditions this week.
Hyderabad: Core Hyderabad areas will experience maximum temperature of up to 40 degree Celsius on Monday with a spell of scattered thunderstorms expected during evening hours, according to weather forecasts.
Across Telangana also, it on going to be another day of intense heat till afternoon before intense thundershowers accompanied by lightning and gusty winds.
The morning day time temperatures in Hyderabad and its surrounding districts including Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Rangareddy, Bhongir, and Medchal-Malkajgiri are expected to hover between 40 degree Celsius and 43 degree Celsius, according to IMD, Hyderabad forecast.
By Monday afternoon or late into evening, intense spells of thundershowers are expected at Rangareddy, Vikarabad, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Yadadri -Bhongir and Sangareddy. Over 20 districts in Telangana are expected to witness maximum temperatures ranging between 41 degree Celsius and 44 degree Celsius on Monday. However, by evening, they might also experience sporadic spells of thundershowers, till the end of this month.
The weather department forecast has indicated that core Hyderabad regions will experience maximum temperature of up to 40 degree Celsius with a spell of scattered thunderstorms expected during evening hours.
