Hyderabad: Toddler falls from balcony while waving goodbye to brother, dies

On Saturday evening, her elder brother was going to attend tuition and as usual the child to see him off rushed to the balcony. While waving at her brother from second floor balcony of the building, the girl slipped and fell on the road, said sub inspector Shankar.

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a toddler girl died after falling from the balcony while waving good bye to her brother who was going to attend a tuition on Saturday.

One year-old Sidra Anam, daughter of Mohd Nizam, a resident of Petbasheerabad stayed along with her family. On Saturday evening, her elder brother was going to attend tuition and as usual the child to see him off rushed to the balcony. While waving at her brother from second floor balcony of the building, the girl slipped and fell on the road, said sub inspector Shankar. She sustained serious injuries in the incident.

The family members on noticing the girl lying injured on the road rushed her to a private hospital and then shifted to Osmania General Hospital where she succumbed to injuries later in the night. A case is registered by the police and investigation going on.
