Hyderabad traffic diversions for IPL 2026 Matches at Uppal Stadium

Hyderabad traffic police will implement diversions for heavy vehicles during TATA IPL 2026 matches on April 5 and May 22 at Uppal Stadium. Commuters are advised to avoid congestion-prone routes and use alternative roads during match timings.

Hyderabad: The traffic police will make traffic diversion during the 19th Edition TATA IPL-2026 scheduled cricket matches, which will be held on 5 April 2026 and 22 May 2026 (Day & Night matches) to be held at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad.

Moderate traffic congestion is expected on 5 April 2026 from 12 noon to 21.50 pm from Nagole to Habsiguda via Uppal Junction and from Boduppal to Amberpet via Uppal Junction and Ramanthapur.


Categories of heavy vehicles for which diversions will be made are lorries, dumper trucks, earth movers, trucks, tippers, water tankers, RMC Vehicles, JCBs, Eicher vans, private buses, and tractors.

The traffic police have asked citizens to avoid these routes and take alternative routes.
