The efforts of the Cyberabad and Hyderabad Traffic police were appreciated by the management of the KIMS Hospital

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Traffic Police on Wednesday facilitated the transport of live organs by providing non-stop movement to an ambulance from the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad to the KIMS Hospital at Begumpet.

As a result, the distance of 36.8 kilometres was covered in a mere 29 minutes by the ambulance, which was carrying the lungs of a brain-dead person for transplant. The efforts of the Cyberabad and Hyderabad Traffic police were appreciated by the management of the KIMS Hospital.


This year, the Hyderabad Traffic Police have facilitated organ transport missions 12 times.
