Hyderabad: Trolley auto breakdown on Durgam Cheruvu bridge briefly disrupts traffic

A trolley auto broke down on Durgam Cheruvu Cable-Stayed Bridge during peak hours on Wednesday, briefly disrupting traffic. Cyberabad Traffic Police and alert citizens acted swiftly to clear the vehicle, restoring normal flow. Authorities advised regular vehicle maintenance.

Hyderabad: A trolley auto broke down on the busy Durgam Cheruvu Cable-Stayed Bridge during peak traffic hours on Wednesday morning causing a brief disruption in vehicular movement. However, swift response of the Cyberabad Traffic Police and the timely help from a few alert citizens, helped in quickly pushed aside the vehicle restoring normal traffic flow.

The incident occurred around 11 am, when the laden trolley auto stalled mid-bridge due to a mechanical failure, creating traffic congestion on the route.

Cyberabad Traffic Police personnel stationed nearby quickly rushed to the spot to manage the congestion. Realizing the need for additional support, a few motorists and passersby voluntarily stepped in to assist.

Together, the police and the citizens manually pushed the vehicle to the side of the bridge, clearing the way for traffic to resume.

Traffic authorities urged vehicle owners to ensure regular maintenance of their vehicles to avoid such breakdowns in high-traffic zones.
