Hyderabad: Two detained in connection with Kamatipura murder

Amith Singh (38) was killed in Kamatipura, Old City, after being attacked near Pochamma Temple Road on Saturday. His wife reported the incident to police. Two people have been detained, and authorities are investigating the case.

Hyderabad: The Kamatipura police detained two people for investigation in connection with the murder of a man reported at Kamatipura, Old City, on Saturday evening.

Amith Singh (38) was stabbed by some persons at Pochamma Temple road, Kamatipura, allegedly by one Ravi, and others.


In the complaint, Amith’s wife, Neha, alleged that her husband was called to the temple by Ravi and some others who later attacked and stabbed him with knives. Amith sustained serious injuries in the attack and was rushed to the hospital, where he died later during treatment.

Neha alleged that Amith was maintaining an illegal relationship. The police are probing the case from all angles.
