Hyderabad: The Task Force (North) team along with the local police nabbed two persons on charges of cheating the owner of a gold refining shop and decamping with Rs.30 lakh at Monda Market on Friday.
Officials seized cash of Rs 29.9 lakh, a car and 2 mobile phones, altogether worth Rs 35 lakh. The arrested persons are Rohan Kadam and Muzammil Baligar, both from Maharashtra.
Police said Rohan who was working at a gold refining shop, escaped with Rs 30 lakh cash related to a business transaction, without handing it over to his employer. He was helped by his friend Muzammil Baligar.
Based on a complaint, the Market police booked a case and nabbed him.
