Hyderabad: Two held, stolen bikes worth Rs.14 lakh recovered in Meerpet
The arrested persons were Mohd Wajeed Khan (30), a worker at the Kothapet fruit market and a resident of Musheerabad and Zhaki (20), a labourer from Bapuji Nagar.
Hyderabad: The Meerpet police nabbed two persons on charges of automobile theft and recovered 13 motorcycles worth Rs.14 lakh here on Wednesday.
The arrested persons were Mohd Wajeed Khan (30), a worker at the Kothapet fruit market and a resident of Musheerabad and Zhaki (20), a labourer from Bapuji Nagar. The two were involved in 20 cases including at Saroornagar, Chaitanyapuri, Vanasthalipuram, Hayathnagar, Meerpet and Uppal.
Police said they were earlier arrested in an automobile theft case last year and were in jail. After being released from prison, they resumed thefts in Meerpet, Chaitanyapuri and other places.
