Hyderabad: Two held with 10 kg ganja in Hyderabad, one absconding
Afzalgunj police arrested two Odisha residents for allegedly transporting 10 kilograms of ganja in Hyderabad. The contraband was reportedly concealed in a specially designed vest. One more accused is absconding, and efforts are under way to trace him.

Hyderabad: Two persons were arrested by the Afzalgunj police for allegedly transporting ganja on Sunday.
The arrested are Ashish Shikhdar (60) and Bhima Jali (34), both residents of Odhisa, while one person, Mouni (40), is absconding.
According to the police, a team of the Afzalgunj police caught Bhima and Ashish while they were moving under suspicious circumstances at MGBS road. On checking them, the police found ganja concealed in a specially designed vest, and both of them were taken into custody.
The couple told the police that one Mouni had handed over the ganja consigned and assured to pay Rs 2,000 for transporting it from Odisha to Hyderabad.
When they were waiting for the receiver of the consignment at MGBS, the patrolling team caught Ashish and Bhima, said ACP Goshamahal, S Sudharshan.
The police seized 10 kilograms of ganja from them. A case is registered and remanded the duo. Efforts are on to nab Mouni, who is absconding.
