Afzalgunj police arrested a 39-year-old Amberpet resident allegedly involved in multiple motorcycle thefts. Three stolen two-wheelers were recovered. The accused was identified through CCTV footage following a complaint from Osmania General Hospital and has been remanded.

Following a tip-off, the police arrested Ch Karthik (22) and D Ajay (20) for snatching mobile phones from pedestrians in the city. On August 16, the pair had stolen a phone from Sai Vivek at Gowliguda and fled, according to ACP Sultan Bazaar, K. Shankariah.
