Hyderabad: Two killed in accident at Medchal

Two of occupants, identified as Gaurav Singh and Dibbu Singh, were killed while the injured persons were shifted to Gandhi Hospital for treatment.

Hyderabad: Two persons were killed in a road accident at Medchal on Tuesday night.

According to the police, a group of nine persons were travelling in a car from Medchal towards Suchitra Road when the driver lost control and crashed into the road median near Medchal checkpost.

Two of occupants, identified as Gaurav Singh and Dibbu Singh, were killed while the injured persons were shifted to Gandhi Hospital for treatment.

“Gaurav died on the spot while Dibbu Singh died at Gandhi Hospital while undergoing treatment,” said the Medchal police.

The police said that the group was returning after attending a party to the city and were reportedly in an inebriated condition.

The Medchal police booked a case and are investigating.
