Hyderabad: Two people were killed in different road accidents in city outskirts on Monday.
At Kandukur, Ranga Reddy district, a businessman Mallesh (34), died after his car got involved in a head on collision with another car. The victim was proceeding from Kadthal to Hyderabad when on reaching Kothaguda Gate, a car coming from opposite direction rammed into his car at high speed. The man suffered injuries and died on the spot, said the police. A case is registered against Shaik Pasha, the car driver who allegedly caused the accident.
At Ibrahimpatnam, Ranga Reddy district, a woman died while her son suffered injuries when a car hit them on Monday afternoon. According to the police, a farmer P Sailu (36) was going on a motorcycle along with his wife Ramuluamma (35) and son Arun Kumar (14) towards Ibrahimpatnam.
Enroute, at Mangalpally cross roads, Sailu parked the bike and got down. A car coming from behind hit the bike following which Ramuluamma and Arun sustained injuries. The woman died on the spot while the boy was shifted to hospital for treatment, the police said.
