Hyderabad: Two killed, one injured in accident on ORR

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, two people died on the spot and another person was injured after the car they were traveling in crashed into a water tanker on the Outer Ring Road at Raviryal in Adibatla on the city suburb on Thursday evening.

According to the police, the incident occurred when the car driven by B Krishna Reddy was proceeding from Bongulur on the outskirts towards Tukkuguda. On reaching near ORR Exit No.13, Krishna Reddy who was behind the wheel lost control of the car and it went on to crash into the water tanker in front. The tanker was watering the plants and trees along the road.


While Krishna Reddy suffered grievous injuries, K Ravinder, a passenger in the car and Ch Ramulu, a gardener died in the fatal crash. The car was heavily damaged in the incident.

Ravinder was shifted to a private hospital in Hastinapuram for treatment.

The Adibatla police booked a case of negligence causing death and injuries and are investigating. The car was removed from the road. The bodies were shifted to the Government Hospital in Ibrahimpatnam.
