Hyderabad: Two teams constituted to trace missing girls

The three siblings from Pragathinagar in Vanasthalipuram had left home on Friday afternoon saying they were going to the house of a friend but did not return home

Hyderabad: Efforts were continuing to track down and rescue three sisters who were allegedly kidnapped from Vanasthalipuram on Friday afternoon.

The three siblings from Pragathinagar in Vanasthalipuram had left home on Friday afternoon saying they were going to the house of a friend but did not return home.


The worried family members after enquiring with their relatives and friends, approached the Vanasthalipuram police in the evening, after which a case was registered and teams were formed to trace them. The police are verifying footage from closed circuit cameras installed in the area to trace them.

“During out preliminary investigation we have found that the sisters were walking on the road. Based on the video footage of closed circuit cameras in the area two teams are trying to trace the girls,” said K Murali Mohan, Inspector Vanasthalipuram police station.
