Hyderabad: Two test positive for drugs as Cyberabad Special Operations Team raids various pubs in Madhapur

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Special Operations Team (SOT) raided various pubs across Madhapur zone and subjected guests to on-the-spot drugs tests with two of them testing positive for marijuana consumption on Saturday.
Acting on a tip-off, the SOT officials raided the pubs and identified at least 10 potential drug consumers. Of them, five were subjected to advanced drug testing and of them, two persons tested positive.
Officials utilized cutting-edge equipment, including advanced drug detection kits, rapid-result urine and saliva testing kits. These tools enabled on-the-spot testing with accuracy. The advanced technology ensured immediate results.
Meanwhile, police officials have directed all pubs and bars across the city to display prominently that their establishment is a drug-free space and to strictly follow a zero-tolerance policy for underage drinking.
Any violation of these norms would attract severe legal consequences.
