Hyderabad: Two youngsters were killed in a road accident at Petbasheerabad on the city outskirts early on Saturday. The victims were identified as Karthik Reddy (23) and Anil (23).

The incident occurred when the motorcycle on which they were riding on rammed an electric pole at high speed leading to severe injuries.

Both of them died on the spot. The incident took place early Saturday at around 3 am at Gundla Pochampally road. On information, the police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to mortuary for postmortem examination.

The police suspect that the duo was driving at a high speed and apparently lost control over the motorcycle leading to the incident. A case was registered.
