Hyderabad: Uday Krishna Reddy gets conditional bail in sexual harassment case

Hyderabad: Uday Krishna Reddy, who was arrested in a case of alleged sexual harassment of a fellow woman trainee IPS officer, was granted conditional bail by the Upparpally court on Tuesday.
The Attapur police had registered a case following the woman’s complaint, after which Uday Reddy was arrested and sent to Chanchalguda jail. He had remained in jail for 67 days before the court granted him bail following a hearing and arguments.
The case also led to Uday Reddy’s suspension from the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA). Uday Reddy had risen from the rank of constable to the Indian Police Service.
The woman had alleged that, even after her marriage, Uday Reddy sent intimate videos involving her to her husband.
