Hyderabad: UP woman found murdered, husband absconding
The victim, Sonu Munni (28), a native of Uttar Pradesh, was staying with her husband Trilok and is suspected to have been murdered by him following a dispute.
Hyderabad: A woman was found murdered in her house at Kandlakoya village in Medchal mandal here on Saturday. She is suspected to have been bludgeoned to death by her husband, police said.
The victim, Sonu Munni (28), a native of Uttar Pradesh, was staying with her husband Trilok and is suspected to have been murdered by him following a dispute.
According to the police, the two were having frequent fights for the last few days. Trilok is suspected to have killed Munni three days ago.
“He is suspected to have attacked her with a blunt object. She looks like having suffered grievous bleeding injuries and must have died on the spot,” police said, adding that Trikok allegedly fled the spot by locking the house from outside.
Neighbours who sensed foul smell emanating from inside the locked house alerted the house owner, who further informed the Medchal police.
A murder case has been booked and efforts are on to nab Trilok. The body was handed over to relatives after autopsy at the Gandhi Hospital morgue.
