Hyderabad: Upset over fight with wife, teacher ends life
Hyderabad: Allegedly upset over frequent fights with his wife, a school teacher ended his life by suicide at his house in Jeedimetla on Sunday.
The man, identified as G Chandrashekhar (47), was a government school teacher and was married to Sri Latha, a private school teacher, two decades ago. They had two children.
According to the police, the couple had frequent fights with Sri Latha suspecting Chandrashekar of having an extramarital affair. She had also approached the Alwal police in this regard and lodged a complaint against her husband earlier when the couple was staying there.
Police said the couple had an argument over the same issue on Saturday night, after which Chandrashekar died, allegedly by suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan in the bedroom.
Based on his wife’s complaint, the Jeedimetla police booked a case and took up an investigation.
