Hyderabad: The fourth facility of Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology (AINU) in Hyderabad for patients with kidney ailments was inaugurated at Hitec City by Cyberabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar on Sunday.
The AINU facility at Hitec City is a 50-bed kidney care centre with 70 member staff and dedicated beds for patients needing intensive care, a press release said. “The new facility will serve in and around Hitec City and is equipped with a comprehensive in-house laboratory and diagnostic facilities comprising X-ray, Ultrasound, Multi-slice CT scan and Urodynamics. There are two fully equipped operating rooms specifically designed for urological procedures with all the latest surgical equipment like lasers to perform high-end endoscopic and laparoscopic surgeries,” said Dr C Mallikarjuna, Managing Director, AINU.
The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art dialysis machines at acute kidney care unit to deal with nephrological emergencies, said ED, AINU, Dr Purna Chandra Reddy.
A dedicated team of fulltime urologists and nephrologists will be available round the clock to provide quality care to the patients. The Head of AINU, Hitec City, Dr Deepak Reddy, nephrologists Dr Taif, Dr Varun and others were present at the inaugural.
