Hyderabad: Clean and hygienic drinking water filters with refrigeration, set up with the cost of Rs 18 lakh by BGR Mining and Infra in collaboration with Rotary Club of Jubilee Hills, were inaugurated at National Research Institute of Unani Medicine for Skin Disorders (NRIUMSD), Erragadda.
The BGR Mining and Infra along with Rotary Club donated the water filtering and refrigeration equipment to NRIUMSD, as part of their CSR initiative.
Speaking on the occasion, BGR Group Deepak Director Indrudu said that the Unani centre in Hyderabad has been extending quality health care services for the poor. “One of my family members was recently treated at this institute, which charges a nominal consulting fee of Rs 20 and provides medicines for free. This service is for all classes of people and it is proven to be a very effective medicine,” he said.
Senior office-bearers of Rotary Jubilee Hills including its president Suresh Gupta, District Governor, Rotary International, K Prabhakar, Assistant District Governor, Rotary International, Murthy Vadapalli, in-charge director of NRIUMSD were also present in the inaugural.
