Hyderabad: Woman dies in gas cylinder blast in Madhuranagar
A cooking gas leak triggered a cylinder blast at a house in Madhuranagar, Ameerpet, killing 40-year-old Sonu Bai. Her parents suffered minor injuries. Police and fire personnel controlled the fire, and an investigation has been launched
Hyderabad: A 40-year-old woman died after receiving severe injuries in a cooking gas cylinder blast at her residence in Madhuranagar in the city on Sunday.
According to the information available, gas from the cooking cylinder leaked, resulting in a blast on the first floor of a residential building in Madhuranagar of Ameerpet. Sonu Bai was severely injured in the incident and later succumbed to the injuries. Sonu Bai’s parents, Gopal Singh and Lalitha Bai, escaped the blast with minor injuries and received medical attention.
Alerted by the local residents, the police and fire department personnel rushed to the spot and controlled the fire caused by the blast. The police registered a case and are investigating.
