Hyderabad: Woman held for duping people on pretext of offering job
Reshma alias Swapna (30), was arrested for allegedly cheating and collecting money from job aspirants on the pretext of providing them with placements in multinational companies.
Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police on Monday arrested a woman for allegedly cheating and collecting money from job aspirants on the pretext of providing them with placements in multinational companies.
The arrested woman Reshma alias Swapna (30), claimed to be HR manager at Cognizant Technology Solutions and collected money towards advance payment of processing fee for their jobs, Cyberabad police said.
After collecting money, Reshma and her associates would send fake emails and offer letter and duped the victims,” police said.
The woman and her associates duped several persons to the tune of Rs. 58.75 lakh. Reshma is involved in multiple cases of fraud in Telangana, Karnataka and AP, said the police.
