Hyderabad: Peeved at being ignored by a friend, a woman attacked him with a knife at Langer Houz on Sunday afternoon. According to the police, Krishna (30) a resident of Shankerpally in Ranga Reddy district was into friendship with Swaroopa (24), also a resident of Shankerpally for the last couple of years. However, since few weeks, Krishna was avoiding her over some differences between them.
On Sunday, on coming to know that Krishna was sitting with a few friends and consuming liquor at Gandhinagar in Langer Houz, the woman came to the city. “Swaroopa confronted Krishna and asked why he was not speaking to her. In a fit of rage, she took out a knife from her bag and attacked Krishna resulting in bleeding wounds,” said Langer Houz Inspector, N Srinivas. A case was booked by the police and investigation is going on.
