Hyderabad: Woman’s handbag snatched in daylight at Somajiguda
A bike-borne assailant snatched a woman’s handbag and mobile phone from a couple travelling on a motorcycle at Somajiguda in broad daylight. Police have registered a complaint and are checking CCTV footage to identify and arrest the offender
Hyderabad: In a daylight snatching, a couple travelling on a motorcycle was targeted by an unidentified assailant, who arrived on a bike and snatched the woman’s handbag along with a mobile phone at Somajiguda on Thursday.
The incident occurred when the couple proceeding from Khairatabad towards Punjagutta slowed down on reaching near the Eenadu Office in Somajiguda.
Khairatabad Zone DCP K Shilpavalli visited the spot and received a complaint from the victims.
The police have started an investigation and are examining possible leads, including CCTV footage from the area, to identify and nab the offender at the earliest.
