Hyderabad: Yashoda Hospitals hosts CME on complex hip replacement surgeries
The CME program, held in collaboration with the Telangana Orthopedic Surgeons Association (TOSA) and the Twin Cities Orthopedic Society (TCOS), focused on complex hip replacement surgeries conducted live at Yashoda Hospitals, Somajiguda, along with a successfully organized workshop.

Hyderabad: Yashoda Hospitals, Somajiguda conducted a revision hip replacement surgery and Continuing Medical Education (CME) program at HICC Novotel, Madhapur on Sunday.
The CME program, organised in collaboration with Telangana Orthopedic Surgeons Association (TOSA) and Twin Cities Orthopedic Society ( TCOS ), mainly emphasized on complex hip replacement live surgeries being conducted at Yashoda hospitals , Somajiguda and workshop in a successful manner.
Complex hip replacement surgeries are in increasing trend as young patients are undergoing hip replacement mostly due to post Covid-19 situations where excessive dosages of steroids were used as part of treatment protocol. Complex hip surgeries are increasing and are very challenging to perform due to three dimensional nature of the hip joint, doctors said.
Director, Yashoda Hospitals , Dr. Pavan Gorukanti along with the Program Course Director and senior orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Uday Krishna Myneni and his team at Yashoda hospitals , Somajiguda expressed gratitude as the conference was successful with nearly 250 delegates across the country have attended this conference and workshop making it a one of its kind in the recent times.
