Hyderabad: Young doctor killed, another critically injured in over-speeding crash

According to the police, the accident took place when their car collided with a truck in front. The deceased was Dr. Jashwanth from Bachupally, while the injured, Dr. Bhumika from LB Nagar, is undergoing treatment. Both were doctors at Kamineni Hospital in LB Nagar.

Hyderabad: Over speeding killed a young doctor and injured another at Khanapur in Narsingi on the city outskirts on Saturday.

The incident occurred when their car crashed into a truck, police said.

The deceased person was identified as Dr Jashwanth from Bachupally and the injured was identified as Dr Bhumika from LB Nagar. Both were doctors working at Kamineni Hospital in LB Nagar.

As per available information, the duo was returning after attending a function in Janwada to Hyderabad.

On reaching Khanapur, Jashwanth, who was driving appared to have lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the truck.

He suffered grievous injuries and died on the spot. Bhumika who was also grievously injured, was rushed to a hospital. Her condition is said to be critical.

Narsingi police are investigating.
